What is DTF Printing?
DTF (Direct To Film) printing is a high-quality printing method where your design is printed onto film and heat pressed onto garments. It allows vibrant colours, detailed prints, and strong durability across a wide range of fabrics.
What fabrics can DTF prints be applied to?
DTF prints work on most fabrics including cotton, polyester, blends, hoodies, t-shirts, trackpants, tote bags, and more.
Can you help fix or set up my artwork?
Yes we can help with resizing, basic edits, transparent backgrounds, and preparing files correctly for print. Additional artwork or design fees may apply depending on the work needed.
What is a gang sheet?
A gang sheet is multiple designs printed onto one sheet to maximise space and reduce costs. This is popular for brands printing multiple logos or designs at once.
How durable are DTF prints?
DTF prints are extremely durable when applied correctly. They are designed to stretch, wash well, and maintain vibrant colour over time.
How do I wash DTF printed garments?
We recommend:
• Cold wash inside out
• Do not bleach
• Avoid tumble drying where possible
• Do not iron directly onto the print
Following these steps helps extend the life of the print.
Do you print white ink?
Yes DTF printing includes white ink support which allows vibrant prints on dark garments.
Will my colours print exactly the same?
We do our best to colour match as accurately as possible, however colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings, artwork supplied, and fabric colour.
What are hot peel prints and how do they work?
Hot peel prints are a type of heat transfer print where the design is pressed onto the fabric using heat and pressure.
After the transfer is pressed, it must cool for around 10 seconds before the film is peeled away.
This short cooling time helps the adhesive and ink bond properly to the fabric, giving a clean, durable, and vibrant finish. If the film is peeled too early, the design may lift or not transfer correctly.
Hot peel printing is often used for custom clothing, logos, and detailed designs because it creates sharp and professional-looking prints.
